Jameiyate Muinia Islamia Foundation (JMIF) and ‘Astana-E-Chishtiya Koralitila Darbar Sharif’ has commenced flood relief program to aid the affected families and individuals residing in various areas on August 24, 25 & 26 within 10 kilometres of Komolganj, Moulvibazar district namely Rohimpur, Munshibazar, Rajdighir Par, Roghunathpur, Gobindopur and Brindabon. Afterward, JMIF team reached Feni and distributed flood relief for 3 days (Aug 27 – 29) throughout the whole Fulgaji and Dagon Bhuiyan Upazilla.
JMIF team successfully distributed a total of 1,050 packet (family) aid kits which consist of the following:
- Muri (1kg)
- Chira (2kg)
- Gur (1kg)
- Biscuits (2 packets)
- Salin (6 packets)
- Napa (2 blister packs)
- Histasin Tab.
- Water purification alum
- Candle (12)
- Lighter
On August 31, our team assembled again and distributed cooked food (Khichuri) throughout Moulvibazar affected area where almost 400 local family has been covered.
Our 7-day flood relief program marks its successful conclusion in August 31, Alhamdulillah!! By Allah’s utmost grace, the blessings of Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa (SAW) and his Ahal-E-Bayeet, also the relentless hardwork done by JMIF team, we were able to provide aid to 1,400 families in Moulvibazar and Feni combined.
We offer our greatest gratitude to Allah for giving us the opportunity to provide assistance to the ones who were in need in this dire situation, Alhamdulillah!!
Lastly, the entire initiative would remain incomplete without mentioning the founder of Jameiyate Muinia Islamia Foundation, Sajjadanashin of Hazrat Shampuri (R.A.), Hazrat Shahzada Sufi Syed Golam Monem Hussaini Chishty, who has nurtured this establishment and has taken it to where it is today.
